This is probably one of THE hardest things I have done in my life. But is going to be one of the most rewarding gifts I could give anyone.

I am a living kidney donor for my father In law. We are not a direct match however, we are now part of the kidney exchange program. This allows me to still donate my kidney to a recipient and in turn their donor will give their kidney to my father in law. We get to give the gift of life to not only one person, but 2.

The recovery time for the donor is much more involved than the recipient. I will be out of my full time job for roughly a month if all goes well and not able to plan all the amazing gift boxes I usually do in a month.

I wanted to plan something prior to me taking time off from the shop that would not only encourage people, because everything I do has a purpose, but also make up for the time away from the shop.
